This award is for citizens (individuals, couples, or organizations).  Guidelines are included on the attached form. Please note the nominee must be nominated by the Sheriff's Office in his/her county of residence. 

This is our traditional scholarship.  MSPOA awards two scholarships of $1500 each to either a graduating high school senior OR a current college student.  The student must have the intention of pursuing a career in LOCAL law enforcement.  The scholarship is merit based.  MSPOA sends this to all high schools in the state (we are waiting for the labels from the MT High School Association).  

This is a NEW scholarship opportunity for the children of MSPOA members.  There will be three scholarships of $500 each awarded to children whose parent is an MSPOA Member in good standing.  The recipients will be randomly chosen and are not merit based.  This is a small way for the board to support members.
